Mother’s Day Out in Lafayette, LA

Our Mother’s Day Out Program is a ministry for children 6 weeks - 4 years old focused on caring for and developing a love of learning in a christian atmosphere and a readiness for kindergarten that emphasizes social skills, academic preparedness, emotional and spiritual development of a child.

Curriculum 

We utilize Abeka, a Bible base curriculum, that lays a foundation to prepare each child socially, emotionally, physically, academically and spiritually at realistic learning milestones. Everything we do in each room is age-appropriate for that classroom while incorporating lots of hands on learning and fun. Our desire is to instill a love for learning in each child while still allowing them to be children.

8:00am – 2:30pm

*MDO follows the same school/ Holiday calendar as Lafayette Christian Academy.

Classrooms

Our rooms are arranged for free play time as well as organized learning where children can learn and develop in a warm and loving God-Centered environment.
 
INFANT ROOM (6 Weeks - 1 Year old)
A day in this class includes playtime, story time, music and napping.

1 YEAR OLD CLASS
A day in this class is full of bible stories, fun activities, crafts, play-time and music and movement.
 
2 - 4 YEAR OLD CLASS
Introduced to the Abeka curriculum and their day will be filled with both teacher lead and child lead activities that include Bible, circle time, music and movement, arts and exploration, table time and free play.
