Intro to Authority

We usually don't have a problem submitting to authority when it's comfortable. What do we do when the authority figure is a bad boss? An unfair teacher? A politician we didn't vote for? Or if we're told to do something that we don't agree with?
"Authority" isn't a popular term today, and it can seem annoying, restricting, or even suffocating. Society tells us to do what we feel like doing—to rebel, protest, or ignore. God's Word reveals to us the truth that we will explore in this series: all authority is placed by God, and submission is the way to freedom.
